After Big Wreck's career 'ran its course' the singer/lead guitarist Ian Thornley didn't put his guitar down but decided to keep on playing and writting in the studio. Deciding that is was time to make an album and to start over with a clean slate Ian began recruiting members for what we now know as "Thornley".

Tavis Stanley came recommended by ex Big Sugar's Gordie Johnson whose drummer roomates with Tavis. After that connection was established Tavis met with the band and joined in. With that Big Sugar link came Eric on drums, and linked to 3 Days Grace came Cale on bass. With everything in place the band was signed to "604 Records" after long time friend and fan Chad Kroeger insisted Ian on signing, it's even reported that Chad wanted Ian back in October 2001 before 604 had its name.

With a debut single "So Far So Good" , and full album release "Come Again"(released May 11th), this is the just the beginning of this Canadian rock band's life.
